‘Hide’ is the final single to be taken from Barbarossa’s upcoming album, Love Here Listen. Driven forward by squelching synth arpeggios and Barbarossa’s dreamy voice, the track is both rigid and free. You can feel the insistence of Kraftwerk’s composition mixed with the honesty of Bon Iver’s vocals. His approach to songwriting comes from a very real place, both in terms of his own anxieties and the physical surroundings of the murky waters of the North Sea that surrounds his home studio.
